Art of the Brick - The Franklin Institute

The exhibition consists of eight galleries, each containing Sawaya’s unique and well-crafted pieces.

The Art of the Brick includes an assortment of Sawaya’s original concepts addressing various themes of life and human emotion, as well as some more familiar concepts such as a 20-foot-long Tyrannosaurus Rex made from over 80,000 LEGO® bricks!

Also on display are interpretations of historic masterpieces such as Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night, Edvard Munch’s The Scream, and Auguste Rodin’s The Thinker—all painstakingly pieced together to replicate the originals, and all made entirely of LEGO® bricks!
